Im aiming to make this a cinematic model like whats made by Blur studios for their cinematics, so im trying to capture the feel that she is a creature and it has the feel of the concept but realistic, or possibly along the lines of final fantasy
Hey Vanessa, Really love the stuff you've got here. It's nice to see creature/character and environment. Are you doing studies of photos and existing paintings to learn more about colour/lighting/perspective etc? Keep at it :)
Well this is a creature I am creating and it is a alien that resembles the t-rex. Since this is like me reinventing the t-rex I decided to reinvent the name as well. Yes I am spelling t-recks on purpose.
Here is the final picture! :) only changed a couple small things from the last update. I was hoping to show when he begins to become a creature of magic and is using his badass powers. Hope everyone likes it!
I just recently began working in Zbrush. Here is a WIP of an amphibious creature base on a concept by Rudy Siswanto A lot left to do but felt like it was at a point where I could reach out for some feedback.
Depends on preference and task. Dynamesh on creatures is totally fine, while on Mechanical objects (like screws for example) [even on higher resolutions] it doesn't achieve same quality results and leaves you with no base for low-poly model.
CAT is nice but it is no wonder weapon. It allows for cool stuff for prototyping like the auto walk-cycle but at the same time it's a generalist approach. If your creature needs a very specialized rig, it's probably better to create it from scratch.
Wow...for a board that has gargoyle wangs, emaciated men, a fat guy in a diaper playing with cats, bloody ripped up women, and horribly disfigured creatures, this is some of the most disturbing work I've seen thus far...
what is this zsphere 2 stuff? the posing looks awesome, looks a bit of a wierd way to start a creature but I suppose its like laying down a muscle structure http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=073956
I think the model looks cool aside from the overalls. The texture on it looks terriblt compared to the texture of the creature. It looks like a picture of denim that you resized in photoshop. Lots of artifacting and bluriness because of it. Cleanup the pants.
