This looks like a really cool character. I can imagine him summoning skeleton arms from the ground rather then stones, but it all works. Want to see more!
Ye i tend to go over the top with the cracks... and the material is meant to be stone but i have trouble getting that across since i suck at digital art :P
I don't feel like that type of rock was used in medieval castle construction. It looks like sheet rock on the side of a cliff. In the reference the stone is cut into linear blocks.
I think, that metal parts need more blueish tint to the highlights (to distinguish more metal from the stone). Generally I'm impressed and I'm waiting for next WIPs. :)
Looks pretty cool, I agree with you, vegetation, maybe some moss in between the stones. There isn't too much going on in the environment, maybe fill it in a bit more.
Stone of Jordan! I didn't get quite as crazy about the expansion, i played the shit out of it, but didn't go quite as far as with it as i did pre-expansion.
Lots of times, the "experience" requirements aren't set in stone, and if you have the portfolio to back yourself up, you can land jobs that ask for a few years of experience.
I like your style. But, the bump looks to centered and theres no cracking around the edges of the stones. I would break up the edges a bit. Awesome work though.
