That looks awesome! Is this for power armor for a human? i guess not because of the legs. or is it that the human pilots legs end at the suits first knee joint? great job so far
Progress so far. This is just the blockout mesh where I'll start adding armor and boots/gloves on. But yeah, modelled the hair out, that im going to keep =3=
I am testing out some runes or patterns for the wings. Still working on tones and levels of brightness so the leg armor pieces are a little darker than they will be in the future.
at last, some progress, these are my refs Attachment not found. And this is more or less the idea, one is like this an the other is to do the suit or tshirt but as pieces of armor, not sure but better hurry ^-^
Haha yeah, been waiting for this for a while. They had some awesome clips from comic-con (including Cage shooting his body-armored daughter with a .357 - twice)
I have a question as to the best way to sculpt armor edges that are curled in. Do most professionals extrude out then back in with sub-d modeling and two smoothing groups?
That plate of armor behind his knee doesn't make sense for the full range of motion you're asking this guy to do. Otherwise, I like the gothic DnD look
