Thanks MoP / EQ :) Here's the final, i think. Now with a shiny OBJ too, but it has n-gons all over the place, please don't hit me :( . OBJ : http://www.trisoup.net/shtuff/pcws1_rebb_eotech.zip
Just 'finished' this environment for a class. It's my first UDK enviro, so any crit would be deeply appreciated. :) Tools: Maya, Photoshop, xNormal I'm picking up Zbrush and nDo2 over the summer. Flythrough: http://youtu.be/n-3OJqV3H30
Its well worth starting off with a planer map UV on anything you unwrap to get rid of any seams that maya may have auto generated. Seems to fix a few issues here n there.
Oh my gosh, what a nice and awesome contrast to the normally so loving Braum! I love your Idea with the shield and Im sure you just hack n slay this contest! :D <3
liking the paint over, would be awesome if u added tree's/tree stumps n what not coming out of the water, maybe a small boat, like a wooden dingy cant wait to see where this goes
Thanks. I actually found the button that N hotkeys too on my own and rebound it to a more convenient place. Should be good enough. Didn't know about the alt+left click thing though. Thanks.
Looks pretty cool, you got any renders with nice lighting without the wireframe on it? Wireframes are good 'n' all, but proper renders would probably be a good way to present it as well. Also, welcome to Polycount! :)
PyrZern: no that is the highres. Even though its not that heavy, could probably run in realtime if needed : ) there is almost no sub-d polygons in the mesh, even if it was, i wouldnt care so much about n-gons anyway : )
