i hated zbrush interface for about a week, now its fine you it feels right to me. i dont know for sure but i would guess zbrush is more widespread in the game industry than mudbox. but again just a guess on what i've seen and heard. and witht he current free updates i would buy it in a cinch for my company (if i had one) -

no problems here with ATI. dunno where all the hate comes from. 6970 works stable and fast for me in Maya and Max (so did the 9800 I had years ago inbetween nVidia cards) I wish I could help more though but we mostly got Quadros at work. I'm having the same problem but mine is not even letting me load the mesh after. What makes me upset, is that I never had a problem before and then I wanted to update to the newest version and ever since then I haven't been able to use 3do. I hate updating things just for this reason. If it's not broke don't fix it,....… -

hate to break it to ya, but doom3 is sooo 5mins ago...:) j/k - I liked it too, think im gonna pick up the exp pack and give it another go eventually. oh and what VC did you get? I played it on a GT6800, ran great though i had to set the shadows to off, otherwise i got some minor hitching. -

Going well for me, so far. Though I had a week vacation and haven't gone to bed before 3 in weeks...and it still might be tight.
