It all depends on the game honestly. So it will still be anywhere from 2k to 45k tris(The extremely high count being for main character). I think on the wiki there is a list of recent games with polycount on characters. I'm sure there is another thread on here that has it listed as well. Just make good art and keep the…
http://reviews.cnet.com/tablets/wacom-cintiq-companion-hybrid/4505-3126_7-35826676.html I'd consider it if they even bothered putting in a new Haswell CPU in it for $2500. Who was the genius that thought only 4 buttons would be a good idea on a mobile tablet? That's the biggest issue with tablets thus far and Wacom didn't…
Hi aurelm, here's my PC spec at work: - 3dsmax 2011 and 2012 x86/32bit - 4Gb Ram - Intel i5 2.8Ghz - Nvidia GTS 450 I tried to import the mesh to a fresh scene and it still crashed when I saved [especially when I import the trees]. I will try it on a 64bit machine back home and see if that works ^__^

My power supply is 450W. Yeah, don't plan to upgrade the PC anymore, its just a stop gap for when I actually decide to buy a new PC. Just need something that will run most 3D software for me to practice on.
1) the cards are downward compatible, it's unlikely that you benefit from PCIEx3 unless you do heavy video editing, or are into oil & gas bizness ;) 2) the watts it outputs is printed on it, or you look up the name of it and find specs online. 450-500 should be okay, depends on how much stuff you have in your PC. CPU is…
Allright, I'll def have that photo sourcing thing in mind and be more careful in the future. El trianglo es fixed, had to spin the edge. I also optimized the slide model and rebaked it, from almost 4500 tri's down to 4181.
I've found the sounds to be pretty realistic... although obviously I haven't owned a lot of the cars with which to compare :) I did used to drive a Honda with the B16 VTec engine though, where the high lift cams kick in at about 4500rpm and the engine/exhaust have a noticeable roar to them. Forza seems to have implemented…
