So I downloaded the free trial at school and when I came to class today and opened the program up there was square boxes instead of text in the graphite modeling tool tab and the Save as menu, etc. Any way to fix this? Thanks. Example: [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] -
Game art topics for learning
Hey all... In regards to game art (not just characters :P ), what sorts of topics would you like to learn more about/become more proficient in? For example, making weapons... props... hair... etc... Anything goes - just curious. -
Does anyone here use Roadkill to unwrap uv maps?
I havent used it before, but I keep seeing it pop up in Youtube videos... for example... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zG0aIwrLxco what benefits does it offer over using Blender etc instead? -

This happens: I want to start drawing a rectangle(for example) and to be able to snap to Vers and Edges with no additional actions like turning Snaps On and Off. @poopipe Why you don't use hotkeys? -

For example use the remapHSV node. And use for max output a value higher than one. Use a simple geo first with a strong backlight. And turn on the IPR to see whats happening in the render. -

Nice sculpt so far. How does the back look? IMHO, he could use some lat muscles. For example, the area behind the underarms, perhaps make it protrude slightly. :) -
