Continued working on a bust from a while back. Skin is mostly polypaint. Also used some photo information in there. I'm working on the clothes for now. Might start a new thread for her.
First of all, you can remove this edgeloop. It does nothing for the geometry. Second, by capping the wheel cylinder like this you can continue to model the it way more easier, and faster for that matter.

Temporary I put this project "On Hold" status due to the Riot Games Art Contest 2014. I'm going to participate, can not miss this contest. After that I'm planning to continue this project.
And some more progress. I felt proportions were off so I changed them a bit and continued to block in accessories. I still feel proportions needs some tweak.

PureRef is free as well, so you can have your cup of coffee while you try it. :) Donations are accepted to be able to continue improving the software and add features that users request.
I think if you want to keep the armor paneiling simple, a lot of the work and effort is going to have to go to the material definition of all the elements. Are you going to continue work on the head?
Just...use a keyboard with your cintiq? Thats what I would do. Also, you don't need to continue to hold down ctrl and shift while you're using the brush
