That's a tedious workaround. A better way is to use a script that centers each piece only for the export, then restores it back to your regular position. I use MoP's multi OBJ exporter, which also exports to FBX. Remembers the destination folder, and exports each object as its own FBX, after centering it at the origin.… -

I don't have all the correct numbers memorized, so you may need to mess around a bit. -Start out by making a cylinder with the number segments equal to the number of arches you want. 9x12 is 9"x12", about 22x30cm? A4 size? I'd recommend larger for willow charcoal. As big as you can get, at least double that. If you use your arm more than your wrist then you will get nice loose and smooth curves. Compressed charcoal (a pencil, or just sticks?) will work alright on smaller paper and willow is decent for… -
