Bummer :( Well without any Win7 experience all I can suggest at this point is try running a scan for virus/malware and see if you get any hits. Probably not likely though, still might be worth a try. -

thanks Vig: bummer bout that select object mode u were right about the gizmo - i was on View mode. yea, i enjoy working with maya, but max really excels at many of the things that I need to do. -

Some beautiful content in here guys. Always a bummer getting a project canned on you but at least ( afaik ) cannings weren't the result. Besides, only those on the inside knew If the thing was heading in the right direction or not. -

The only bummer with Advanced Painter is it won't randomize the rotation IIRC, have to run another script afterwards. Neil Blevins' objectPainter might be better, haven't tried it yet. http://www.neilblevins.com/soulburnscripts/soulburnscripts.htm -

@Eric Chadwick Thanks for the response. That was a nifty workaround. I tried it. Opened it again in 3ds Max, but the Skin Morph is nowhere to be find. It's a bit of bummer. So I guess, it's not possible. Anyhow, thanks again. Have a great day ahead! -

All this toing and froing can be simmered down into a simple test - Look at the character design. Does it make you roll your eyes? If it does then you've got an excessively pandering design. If you don't then you don't. Simple, see? -
