i just picked up a new monitor so its hard to tell what looks right to everyone else. Im just going relative to the last shots i put up. too light? too dark? I pushed the values on the diffuse, turned up the spec saturation and added a slight environment map to the armor. Oh i also cleaned up the clipping from the posing. -

That's a stunning piece Blaizer. Really awesome lighting and rendering. Not sure what you were going for, but it definitely reads as a plastic toy and not a living plant. Are a light's size/softness setting supposed to affect the ggx shader or would that not be physically accurate? Cause that setting has no noticeable effect on the ggx shader for me. awesome! think you could soften the edge of the pool area, with a slight bevel around that edge. Also, the bloom on the lights seems a ibt heavy, could either turn down its brightness, or turn down the bloom in general. Take a look back at the reference, you can see there are a range of blue lights, mainlty one on the left, one in the middle-leftish and one on the right. Injecting some lights with colour tins will help, at the moment everything full white looks monotonous. Another thing that isn't helping in your scene is the scale of it.… -

Hmm..I'm not really sure about tho change it to use the channel 2, I'm not using channel 2 yet because simply I just don't know how to utilize multiple UV channel in Max, but I read in AREA forum they said usually using the map channel 2 for dirt map or something.
