Well, I wish the site wasn't so bloody slow. But it's interesting. I wish it wasn't written quite so one-sidedly too as Eric says, since it makes it hard to read. But I fundamentally agree with the point I think. Except that I wouldn't want to dismiss all modern Art just because it a) has been produced in the 20th century…
Much improved, sef. Some of the things I'm going to mention you already have listed, but I'll jot them down anyways. - Satellite dishes. Trying moving them around a bit on adjacent buildings. I know most places have codes on where you can put dishes, but moving them just a bit in any direction can help break up the…
A purple-ish tone seem like a good idea, i've been trying some red/yellow-ish tones i picked from references to breakup the gray and it always seemed off somehow. Thanks for the suggestion !
If your going for a night time effect, try putting a blue-ish skylight, with a low intensity, and then add a light above the door, something bright with a yellow-ish color.
Does anyone know how to automate texture importing and material creation ?, like is there a script for it, wish I knew some coding. For example the objects in the scene are named like: Jeep_Engine Jeep_Tires Auto material script creates for all objects (Mat-"object's name"): Mat-Jeep_Engine Mat-Jeep_Tires And substance…
I'm digging your progress from the first model, the silhouette looks better already. I would keep pushing the sea theme, look at some fishy references, or sharks if you want to be more predatory. I think your character could benefit from some fins and more streamlining details to help him speed through the water, just look…

Trying an alternative version! Went back to a really old UAV model and finished it up, didn't come to mind as a scene object until the potential became clear (thanks Stromberg). The UAV has a two alternative textures (medic version and military, rendered in Marmoset), I thought the military themed one seem a bit more…
Had a client once who didn't want to pay and delayed payment with all kinds of fishy reasons. Fortunately I had everything documented. A lawyer got the court to threaten to seize some of his assets if he doesn't pay within a certain time, so he coughed up the money pretty quickly. (pretty much a routine process that…
It looked great, but I still wish Valve would incorporate some better shadows! I'm not asking for Doom 3, but hell the characters never cast shadows on meshes, just the level geometry itself. Check out the fisherman when he's on the small pier at the start, no shadows. I know the HDR looks awesome and all, but I really…
