- Detail Phase - Getting some details in, spamming around with alphas, making dents, cracks, and asymmetric details. Trying to mimic different shapes and forms of armor and materia.
Perhaps more rounded forms, and softer transitions in the armor for ease of under water movement, and structural integrity for higher pressure loading? I like the helmet though.
Freaking awesome...and with normal mapping goodness. In an RTS even! Nice amount of detail in everything, including in the armor of the (spanish)? troop at the top...and in all the mini buildings and ships.
That would be actually funny, making the movie about a warrior trying to get his magic armor set and whereever he goes there's chinese characters farming in the backround...
WIP of my 3rd character ever modeled. Using maya... trying to get effective edgeloops. Body will be finished in a few days, along with some alpha mapped hair, mustache, and beard. Followed then by some armors.
