Moved a whole bunch of stuff around so that the boots were easier to texture. Not really satisfied with them though, they look like purple latex robot boots right now. To do the art side of this job you need a rough idea of the specs and techniques and mountains of practice, something playing games really won't get you much of. It's probably doing more to hold you back than allowing you to surge forward. But I guess "shut up mom I'm working on my career, die die die Nazi robots!" sounds… -

Just saw rhis: LBrush and "pose space deformation" But the maker took the Maya plug-in off market. You can sculpt the deforms, i.e. regular non-EA artists could've gotten similar results if it was still for sale. Also saw Binary Domain, Japanese game, but they probably used Face Robot to do their facial expressions… -

Sorry about that. All is changed now. :) Forgot to answer Havok about the high poly model. Yes I modeled the high poly version too. I already had it modeled so it seamed like a great way to practice low poly. Previous version was meant to be a transformer where it would transform from simple car park machine into a robot.… -

VCS: A version control system has it roots in programming.. when multiple people work on several text files any changes on the same file will be "overwritten" by the last one who changes this. So in a VCS everyone has an own version which then are tried to merge.. if there are changes in different location of a text file…
