Great idea! I really like the layout, with all those circles. The overlapping circles above the throne are really cool too. The throne really captures the art-deco feel that you're going for.
Thanks for this cheat sheet. Might come in handy. What I was talking about in previous post: Combined material with mask. You can see a bit of thin film, gradient from pink to green (from sides to center). Reflections are not too bright and sharp. You can see inside parts a bit better. Simple material with thin film. No…
Something about the arms, they look short! I see you drew a circle to project the arm down to the mid thigh, but you drew an oval, not a circle. Looking forwards to see this design spring to life :)
I just use planar mapping and make sure to draw straight lines between the edges instead of a real circle (as you can see a real circle causes problems).
click on the circle plus next to Bip01, then again on the circle plus of Transform. the should expose the Verticle, Horizontal and Turning that you are after. this can be done in both the Dope Sheet and Curve Editor
Haha, I was just going to post that solution. I made two circles, had the camera follow one and its target follow the smaller circle. Glad you figured it out.
For me, circles really help, much easier to judge distortions with circles than with squares. Also nice to have a subtle 1pixel checker, easier to see distortions. And letters like R or F to tell if the UV is flipped backwards.
Looks nice but I think it would look better without the forced lowpoly look the circles, Id personally make the circle shrine thing silhouette really round, the tree also uses far more sides for than this
Develop a plan, and then resist any urge to change your plan. "What if this would look better as a square than as a circle? Well, I decided earlier on in my design that it would be a circle, so It's just gonna have to be a mystery."
The middle of the top....of a circle? The respectice sides of a bottom...of a circle? Where exactly are those places? Also, to everyone writing posts consisting of 1,000 words and more: I don't read your posts.
