Translucency are on the ToDo list :) I don't sure about performance, I think about 170-200 instructions inside the editor -

2700k 16Gb GTX 570 2.5Gb No issues recently except when I accidently tried to render out 149 million polys. -

quick tf sniper replacement, muddy skin I know but at least it's 170 tri with a 256x128 (opposed to 605 tri with 492x196 for the original) -
