unwrapping of 893 tris is done handpainting can be exhausting.. ^^ btw this is my first lowpoly of this kind i did some Dota2 items, but they dont be topologized like this. So it would be very kind if you could let me know where i can improve

No, it's my lowpoly version of Sackboy, from LittleBigPlanet. It's a game made by MediaMolecule and that means all the praise for character design should be headed at them (mainly to Rex Crowle I believe). @andersh Wouldn´t that stretch your textures pretty badly at the edges or mirrored parts, making the uvspace you won with that technique mostly useless? Especially with a lowpoly model where you see stretching instantly due to the pixelation. Here´s how I do it:
That is absolutely fantastic! I love the amount of character that went into this piece! grand work for sure. - Its been a while since I've done any lowpoly stuff. Here is one that is slightly above 500 with the body being 450 and the head 160 With two separate textures.
There is a lot of awesome on this forum! Duvo inspired me to make a little pixel robot for texturing practice. 20 Polys and 36 Verts. Texture is 128x128 I am very n00b and this is my first finished lowpoly model so any feedback is very much appreciated :D

lowpoly halo stuff, Im getting to grips with c++ and ds homebrewing, maybe one day make the halo ds which almost came out! I have added the reloading thingy after these shots were taken *edit* sorry about huge image size!
BaddCog - Keep size/sides ratio in mind. Right now your wheels and head light both are 8 sided, though the lamp is much smaller. MightyPea - considering we're on polycount, specifically in the lowpoly thread, the educated guess would be triangles. Which turned out to be incorrect.
