Awesome work, guys! I really like what I'm seeing here. Anyway, this is my final project for school this semester. Enjoy! Fly-through video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM4xH3NFAUo Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/RzAXv
Hi Polycount!!! I want share this work i did during this 2 days of weekend. I did this exercise for handpainted texture and stylized sculpt! I hope you like it! More render here! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VdY19g
I'm working on a Pharoah bust to test out a new workflow. I don't normally sculpt hand painted assets or use anything other than diffuse, but I'm liking the result. Marmoset has been very easy to work with as well.
Here is something i did in my free time, WoW inspired :) Artstation with marmoset and sketchfab viewer: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Gk6Jd Btw, i'm kinda new here so if links like Artstation are not allowed, please delete it, thanks!
Personal texture painting practice currently still in progress. Modeled a simple World of Warcraft style wagon to practice some textures on. Next up is the lamp, door, and finally the tarp. =) @"imran.ahmed" I like it, it's different! @tomenjerry Those textures are fantastic!
@AntonioNeves > cool textures! I like the "spirally" look of the lava @glenatron > sick piece! love it! @dragonar > cool style! nice work @Pixelatedkiwi > boom! killer work! Here is a little barrel exercise that took way too long to finish
Speed modeling/texture is a really good practice, we (handpainters) are usually very slow worker. However the more i look at that jelly fish the more i don't like it haha, I should probably go back fixing stuff on it.
model First time trying hand-painting in 3DCoat (second time handpainting overall), sadly I couldn't spend as much time on every prop as I would have liked due to limited time (have to deliver this for end of semester).
Hey guys, this is my new project, the environment is in 2.5D and sword are 3D ... I need a job, please take a look at my portfolio, more details in my page, I hope you like it ... thanks :) https://www.artstation.com/artist/matheusoliveira
Nice work! Looking at it right now, a lot of those belts and straps could have shared UV space. Personally, I think I could pack it all into one UV set and texture it with a 1024 and most likely down-sample it to a 512.
