If you are using collider as on last picture.. green wireframe. Please get rid of that dense sidewalks geo unless you really need it for something special :) Only one loop is enough there.
The problem was solved. Flipped and overlapped faces in the UV layout and geometry. The weapon is almost finished. Here are some snapshots of the wireframe and polycount. Two more with normals map and ambient occlusion applied.
Looking good, can you post Wireframe and polycount of this model? Please add some chromatic aberration and also add some different material for small details, like dark materials.
Possible. When I am in Maya with Wireframe/Shaded on, things that don't actually penetrate show their wires through if they are close enough to the surface. It is an annoying thing, but it happens to me all the time.
I've thought the ctrl-z thing more than once while doing normal stuff. Most often I've found myself looking at a real life object imagining the wireframe.
Wireframes would help with the critiquing process Your end result turned out pretty good, though the rear light is too bright a red, and doesn't have any kind of variation.
i think its great that your trying so many things. have you seen the gta4 art of book? lots of wireframes in there for the environments, weapons, and vehicles. def worth looking at
All right, here is an update on the modeling front. I had him slim down a bit and I redid the feet completely. Currently chipping away at the hands. WIP: Oh, and a wireframe
Thanks Nem.. I'll try to fix that. I wonder why photobucket classified wireframe model as image/video violation - maybe its too ugly to be shown (without sub-surf).
yeah your right im not presenting my work like this. i still have 2 months to show wireframes, textures and such in a professional manner. btw any crits on my environments.
