No it isnt lol. Ventrilo is still the defacto standard as it has been for the past decade, mumble is kinda being used by more people but it still sucks compared to Ventrilo and nobody at all uses TS3.
I think their whole plan is to delay it : A) To think people will forget by the time the get to it, so they have less opposition. B) Sneak this bill into another C) Make another bill with a different name
For an object that large you'll have to use tiling textures. It's way too big for a unique texture that won't be blurry. You can blend different textures and use decals to break up the repetition.
yeah go on then, work organised lifedrawing for us for 10 weeks, it was quite fun. Wierd to do having not done that kind of thing for over a decade! Excuse the mistakes, I am neo-noob.
Thanks mate, I had a mini-breakthrough with my frustration :) It's been so long since I drew anything anime/manga esque (probably a little over half a decade) Cheers!
it can since, well i guess forever- don't remember needing to install a plugin for that and my first version was max 3.1 which is like decades ago - man i'm old :X
Great crits and paintover by Conte. Right now it looks like the helmet has been sitting in a landfill for a decade or two, Diwan. You're making good progress though so keep it up.
I noticed you can scale a brush using CTRL + mouseup/mousedown, are there any other brush hotkey functions available? I often need to rotate decals and it can be pretty tedious to keep having to touch the slider to do it.
anyone know how to get the top and bottom diffuse working or indeed what it does. I was presuming that you could do decals with this method, but need clarification. what seems to be happening is that if I put a map on the bottom diffuse , it doesn't show up at all
