@melviso That's what I was told by the company helping me with the process. Pretty sure any digital arts falls under graphic design for simplicity of explaining it to people.

There are brushes in photoshop, and custom brushes in which to do that.... they blend like paint but its not traditional feeling as say Corel Painter, both digital. Its all in the bushes.
I'm using a Huion H610 and Intuos Pro. Both are pretty awesome, the Huion has a much better digitizer than Wacom's but their drivers can be kind of spotty.

Digital tutors has a lot of beginner and stylised character tutorials. For anatomy you can't really go wrong with Scott Eaton, Scott Spencer and Zack Petroc.

I really truly thought that was a digital painting... then when I saw the video I was like NO WAY! That's has to be the coolest 2D/3D hybrid I've seen. :)
