I'm loving it, except for one thing. I'm really not liking the kids hair. It doesn't flow believably, it all seems to be sticking straight out. It's detracting a lot from an otherwise super cool character and soon-to-be scene.
So, this DW is.. pretty much the same as all the other ones? Except this time you make the "warrior" seem even MORE powerful? And the Polycount contest is totally unoriginal and just a copy of the Comic Con contest? Really?
that ward looks REALLY nice, though im not sure many QoP players will be warding much during games, except maybe if the support hands them a rune ward anyway :) also, are there plans for observer/sentry variants?
How about showing some breakdowns? Wireframe, flat texture sheets, etc. Also is the 3d stuff being shown in a real-time application? I can't really tell except for the first piece being in sketchfab.
Uwa! This looks so nice! o_o The style is just perfect. Love it! Maybe the skulls are a bit slow. Excepted if it's like the Twin Shadows item's active. (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Twin_Shadows) No, really, it's an awesome work! :o
You should tweak the normals on the tree leaf clusters. There are some max scripts in: UDK\Binaries\SpeedTreeModeler\Scripts\3ds Max The mesh utility script does a similar thing as the normal thief script, except that it's faster.
i usually compile a playlist with music in languages I'm not familiar with (which is every language except for russian and english), or just dumb edm something off top20; make sure to take regular breaks if you can.
Been fixing my occlusion and normal map, mostly done now except some fine tweaks Crappy screengrab from max viewport starting the texturing tomorow :) can't wait to bring her inside of cryengine!
There's no zfighting when the surfaces are single-sided. No need to push them. In my experience. Clothes are mostly outside only. Except at the edges where the player can see, then you only duplicate and flip what's absolutely needed.
@Mark Dygert ya the script is kinda like making your own context sensitive tools, just like silo or voidworld ones, with the exception that it dosnt check to see if the user pressed the key or held the key down.
