Well, Maya also has a backup function while crashing. It tries to save your files, but it puts on the temp folder of your system. You can grab the .ma file there. 20% of the times tho you wont be that lucky.
having come from working with Source, the pipeline for Unity is absolutely beautiful... you drop a .MB or .FBX in your Assets folder, open Unity, and you're done: colliders setup, automatic lightmap UVs, materials setup, etc.
One of the reason I switched to Max. Plus I got tons of corrupted "auto recovery(my ass)" files... (you know those useless files cluttering your temp folder) In the past it was the other way around...
Had a similar experience when (somewhat carelessly) trying out a bunch of materials from Substance Share. You should be able to selectively remove these materials from your shelf by digging into the actual document folders where they are stored.
Dude, i saved your recent mecha in my ref folder the other day. The only thing i can say would be market yourself more. Network better etc. That must be the only bottleneck for you not to be in work.
Good luck Makkon, always liked your work and will be depressed that I can't add any of your work to my inspiration folder for 2 yrs:( Keep safe, and have fun...but definetely keep that pen working:) Spark
That's weird :/ I've sent it again, check your junk/spam folder maybe? If you still haven't gotten it, feel free to add me at danaosc@gmail.com or "blady1996" on skype! Looking forward to talk to you mate! -Dan
hey thanks for the link- I like these concepts, I think I've seened this before? I probably came across these while I was doing some research awhile back. These will add nicely on my inspirational art folder ;)
I've had that artist's work in my inspiration folder for a while now! I love those ships. I wouldn't worry about modeling in extra detail. Texturing is where the heavy work should come from on this one.
If you didn't mess up and actually unsubscribe from all by accident, then it could be a database error (happened to me a few times), you ISP all of a sudden thinking emails from PC are spam, or they are going to spam folder.
