I've finished Guilly and created all the fancy renders. I'm just waiting on the animations before i can post him up but here is the prop finals! Never ended up using the can in any of the poses though >W<
(first post) Here is as far as I got. Sweet models by the way. It was nice painting a texture with a good UV set up, instead of my crap attempts. Painted in blender w/ some contrast, sat, and brightness alteration in gimp.
I'm the great procrastinator, lol.I have a lot of excuses: New Year and Christmas celebrations, vacation, a new project at work, etc. It took a lot of willpower to return to work. So there is my b/w version of Ahri, heh
i like this model. it has a nice look, nice textures. some nitpicks would be the windows lookin not very "windowy" and that the headlight seems to have quite some shadow baked into them. also.. did you model the W -emblem?
JI styles is great. it's really simple to use too. http://www.jistyles.com/main.php?id=doc&page=hlsl grab it....read the "read me" file. load up the textures provided. then reload w/your own. should work.
I am kinda boycotting it. I am sick of getting spammed by their marketing dept. and I tried to get off their mailing list a few dozen times a year, written them emails of complaint etc etc. W**kers.
Cool texture! The only things that stand out to me are the red pipes in front of the cockpit, and the seam in the seat. I'm sure this is a wip, so w/e. Nice work man, good design. Just needs some spec awesomeness.
Good lookin cookin. I'm a newb at the game too, but this piece has potential. I stil have alot to learn when it comes to texturing myself... w/the different layers and all. is this personal or for a project of some sort? keep it up!
I drive w/out driver view. Just the tach and speed. You guys need to add rev limiter adjustment for the cars in your garage. Most of the turbo/supercharged cars I take 300~500RPM beyond redline.
As someone who's also relatively new to modeling, reading through these answers was super helpful - especially w/r/t basic workflow between high- and low-poly modeling. And, Joanny, your English is perfectly fine and I think your models look great!
