looks really cool, but he looks more like a teenage koopa, not really the king yet. i think hes a bit too trimmed down. definatly cool, i have just always thought of koopa as a big chunck of mass.
being able to eye drop alpha values with rgb on a 32bit png would be nice. If this has been fixed in cs3 or cs4, please someone tell me :P trimming down cpu/memory usage... and fixing memory leaks... PLEAAAAASE >.<
Here is the first iteration of my trimsheet, my whole environment is based on trims therefore I think I will create another one for tiles/stairs/rails etc. The vats are going to be created only using trimsheets due to their size. Test of trimsheet on the vats:
its a good start, the concepts are fun! I feel like you could carry over more of that angular sharpness into your sculpt, stay at a fairly low subdivision level and use the flatter or trim brushes to create those flat sharp angles in the concept.
Started on the high poly... I'm still kind of new to zbrush, but working with the flatten, trim, planar and orbs to get that shattered stone look. I am pretty sure I need to go broader on the detail so I'm reworking some of the stone faces.
I need to just sit down and try all the brushes. I think i use like 4. Clay, clay tubes/building, dam standard, hpolish, pinch, trim dynamic. Ok that's more than 4 but that's all i really rely on
I had to make small alterations to some of the modular pieces for the level design department. Buildings in the area are raised and have stoops, so I created building platforms with trim, raised the doors and gave them a step, and created stoops for each door size.
It really seems like your wall here is sunk half way in the ground. You don't have any sort of trim on the ground, and your arches look like the tip of a much taller arch. There are a few seams in your brick texture. Good luck!
Thanks for the quick reply. This texture is a trim texture I left the top blank because I'm not sure what else I'm going to add to it yet. I would like to show the my Photoshop file what the best way I can do that?
looks awesome, love the design as well :) to me just feels that the top edge (where the "roof" railing is) is lacking some sort of trim. Otherwise it loosk a bit "cut". Anyways, too minor detail i think, it doesnt really bother the whole scene ;)
