This is just fantastic. One of my favorites for sure. Is there an easy way to get the items into a "Game" ? or is this just you opening a map, dropping a character in, hitting an animation and popping them into the sockets?
Im a little confused by the shadowing on the top wing too. It looks like a shadow but there's no source of something that would provide that kind of shadowing, nor any affect on any surrounding item.
nice concepts, i like the dp set a lot. only problem i see is that the leg and torso are 2 different item slots, so they will have to be seperated in some way.
I recently animated an item for the dota2 workshop! First submission into the workshop ever!! You can check it out here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=457305406&searchtext=
sub platform area. Looking quite rough at the moment. Going to add a whole list of items to this area to clutter it up. Main focus from now is creating the exit area.
You can automatically combine normal maps by baking by Mesh Item in Substance Painter and having your high and low poly objects properly formatted. Have you tried that?
Thanks for the crit, GrungyStudios! I think you're right, some crates and various other items would help spice it up a bit. I'll make some and do an update.
