Good stuff, Ian! I love the emote for falling asleep on the sword and cutting his neck. hahaha. I loved working on the cinematics, but was always jealous of you gameplay folks. Also, that game really didn't get it's fair shake.
@musashidan : That is, probably, how you set your stack in fact it's probably related to "prevent indirect smoothing' otherwise sword slayer script is really solid. I did the same shape than your and it's pretty clean by my side.
I bought it both for myself and as a gift for my girlfriend last night :D Yes, it comes with the editor. I'm bringing my sword project into the editor soon and I couldn't more happy about the sale being THIS weekend! Hooray!!
hey kamul, haha we are taking over the internet =p, well it really depends on the form actually, the character itself i sketeched on zbrush and then i retopo it in modo but the sword i made a basemesh and then made all the details in zbrush =)
Hey :) Started on a fantasy sword a couple of weeks ago. Didn't like the first 10 designs so I scrapped them, and tonight I started with a new one. Felt like sharing the first wip for this design. Comments are welcome :)
The design is looking better, I like the addition of the shoulder and arm armor, great job. However I would try something else in place of the bullet belt, doesn't make much sense with a giant sword wielding chick. =P
Hey guys! Been away for a while, here are few recent things :) Portraits: Few of the ones I did during my placement at Criterion games, they were used on in-game billboards in NFS:Rivals Still lifes: Flint sword wip:
the sword looks great! but for some reason it gives me the impresion that the handle is just a part of blade covered in leather. maybe scale down the handle a bit? just saying. i`m curious how will it turn out after texturing
was a very good movie. read the story for the first time a few hours before. i liked how the White Witch used her wand and sword to fight and how she was wearing the mane of Aslan as a trophy during the final battle.
I want to say Sword in the Stone, because I know merlin has that bag of magical goodness, though I can't think of anyway that it's attached to The Corpse bride, other than the fact that Mr. Burton used to be an animator for Disney.
