ya I dont know why, but I had a hell of a time with the grip... really not pleased with that part. It's based off a colt python .357, and I just added stuff onto it. In my reference, the indents are in between each recess, so I think mine is accurate. It was modeled and rendered in Softimage.
Right think im calling this done, still think the render could be improved but im running out of ideas now. Was a fun little project and quite happy with the results. Final tri count for the toolbox containing everything is 3538 Thanks Di$array, and thats a nice idea with giving the toolbox some dents as the do get beat up…
Hey guys, apologies for the confusion - I replied to this thread and addressed the previous posters who were kind enough to give me such excellent feedback. Unfortunately, I dont see that post... Not sure where it went? :( Anyways, thanks again: I took everyones crits into consideration and made changes based on pretty…
Wow, Plex is awesome. Got it to work nicely now, using a spare PC as the server. I found a router script that helps me force the PC awake whenever one of my remote players wants to stream content. Very cool! https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/35xw5t/how_to_set_your_computer_to_sleep_and_wake_on_an/ Plex works great…
Tits- Thanks, it will be something a bit less serious for the next character :) Bek- Thanks man LRoy- You mean the polycount is too high? She clocks in at around 42k which I think is in line with the goals that I set for myself. The wireframe looks crazy because Im not deleting things like the hoodie and shirt under the…
I dig what you're doing here, it looks very cool and I like the design and especially colors, but for the love of god just downrez them a bit. 3500x5000 is overkill. One at that rez might be ok but the rest of them would be great at half that, and much more merciful on many peoples internets haha. nonetheless, nice stuff!
Ah the grip's all subject to change ATM, but I based it loosely off the COP 357 Derringer: I'll probably put up a Marmoset Viewer once I've done a preliminary pass on the whole thing. Definitely too chunky at the moment now that I look at it again, cheers!
Still having the same problem in 2016, zremesher always remesh ''too hard'' even if I check half. On a 35,1 M polygons I check half and it gives me a 65k poly mesh after it. I'vm on Zbrush 4R7 P3 and I've reinstall it once and I'm keeping the problem. Anyone know how to fix the problem ?
