Yeep! It will help when it comes time for art tests too. Too many artists don't finish personal work and it comes to bite them in the ass when they need to get that last 20% polish on a piece quickly.
Very nice model, textures and animations, but I think your price point is really high. The going rate for a model of this quality with a base set of animations is around $20 in the asset store. Nice work, none the less.
If you're already thinking about this at 14 - and you put a simple regimented program in place for learning and tackling your shortcomings now - by the time your 20 you'll be an art god / godess. I'm self taught, at home :)
Long time no post, but here we go again anyways... Quick 20-30 minute model: Messing around in UDK about 6 hours after downloading it: And a texture, though I screwed up the grouting:
Thank you jipe!! That $20 off, and free shipping was what I needed to be able to really afford it. I will soon be enjoying the slaying of the undead like never before!! I'm so excited now (in my pants)!
http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/space/2007-04-24-new-planet-red-dwarf_N.htm The closest Earthlike planet is 20 light years away. Which with current tech would take 200 years to get to.
Damn it, bought it for $20 two weeks ago..... Is there anyone here that plays regularly? By that, I mean like a polycount TF2 Steam user group or something. I'd love to get some games in with some other polycounters....
not to sound like an ass...but why does'nt r13 just put an updated message on the front page? I've seen like 20 posts about the models already. He can't be that busy. And if he is, i'll do it for him?
- Is this like a movie from the 70s that is super low budget and the dog talks to him? I caught about 20 minutes of a movie like this in a hotel a month ago; it was f-ing weird but had no idea what it was about.
Well, I'll be going (early night off work ) plus the venue is only 20 minutes from me. Probably get there around 4:15 just to make sure I get in and good position etc.
