I'm not sure why you think this, but it isn't really true. The best thing to do with max bakes is to use the proper tangent bias in max. IE: using 3ps shader's quality mode, or the hotfixes in 2011 which fix the tangent bias. With a properly synced up tangent bias you shouldn't need to triangulate or anything either in…
Amulets & Armor A bit of an obscure and crappy looking one with limited customization, but dammit, multiplayer LAN cooperative first-person real-time RPGs are rare enough as it is Also Final Fantasy V (job system!) and Ultima VII. Biased heavily toward IV and VI though...
I have always liked playing shooters more with a gamepad. 'course i grew up a console gamer and later migrated to PC - so i suppose i'm biased. besides - if you're not using a gamepad you'll never get the joke about moxxi's favorite gun!
Sweet....even better man. I'm still not too sure why some gaming studios still insist on using Maya?!? Feels like max is just better streamlined for games. Maybe I'm just biased...ah well. Cant wait to check out the tuts.
The "No BS iPhone Review" Only read about 1/8th of the whole thing at this point, but I'm already liking what I'm seeing. Flame wars and apple love/hate biases aside, already seeing a really well-written review of what the iPhone does/doesn't do.
Yeah, plus 3D preview with realtime edits, cage sculpting, skew correction, etc. Toolbag is pretty cool, but I'm biased obviously. =P There's a couple live link plugins for Substance tools in our add-on library: https://marmoset.co/toolbag/add-ons/
Over on conceptartempire.com, there's a bunch of publications too sift through... And one particular book to look out for is 'Character Design From The Ground Up' by Kevin Crossley. Though not specifically biased towards game art but more of an agnostic perspective moving between 2D & 3D.
Yeah, I didn't want to say anything cuz I figured people would say I'm biased. I've heard people complain that PVE gear gets more important at the end game. I have a character in T3 so I haven't gotten to that stage yet.
Your post kinda comes off as biased. Lets face the other reflection of flash. So many features were added in later editions that it had ended up bloated. The problem is that on these portable devices, that sucks too much power. Even the android version of flash is a power hog.
In the retro PC area there's this (i may be biased as i'm involved with hunting some rarities for the archive (which is strictly legal, which is why it's unpopular because kids want warez)). You can even play some of em on TEH WEB! Don't forget Good Old Games.
