Homebrew will only work on 1.0 and 1.5 with the expliot. If you upgraded past 1.5 (which you did) your SOL till they hack the 1.52 system. -

I got a chance to play with the Nikon 105 VR on a D700 the other day, if the 60 is anything like the 105 you'll be very happy. I was really shocked at how fast the AF was. -

I'm not sure that it's working exactly as I want it to. For example 1.5 ^ 3 = 3.375, but using the substance power formula (((log 1.5) / (log 2)) * 3) ^ 2 = 3.079. It would be nice if there was a way to debug each nodes output. -

Actually the 7900 is pretty close in price to the 8600 seems like they go for like $115-160 on newegg these days, and the 8600 is in the 100-115 range. But honestly, $100 for a dx10 card? Not really what i'de consider all that crappy.
