Hey all, It's been awhile since I posted on this forum but I've had a chance to work on my craft a bit and feel good about posting the current progress on this personal project. Its based on a personal concept of what a Destiny Guardians apartment would look like. I'm going to try to build as many of the assets as I can as…
'Laughter in the face of Death' (In the furthest and darkest of
forests, they say is where you will can truly find magic, creatures from your
wildest dream, demons, angels and what are known to us as, the lost ones...) “Do
you hear that, in the distance?” -“This
laughter, the child is back…” “She
won’t get away this time”…
Stop! Don't download it! This is a coded drug for creative minds. Highly adictive and pure endless fun. And a tiny but very motivated community exploring all possibilities from Water paint - oil paint up to something close to 2,5 D painting/sculpting...almost. If some virus allert is trying to take your fun - I can't…
I used to be a reptile guy myself, owned a ton of chameleons and geckos. They are fun pets but as mentioned you need a special vet, and even then they die way to easy, esspecially my female chameleons, i just could not handle the frequency of pet departures associated with reptiles so i switched to dogs. Maybe one day ill…
has anybody considered that valve does this secrecy/fake-leak thing for fun? I think it would be fun. And yeah - i'm with Ace - Not letting on at what is being worked on allows them to work on whatever they see fit and take as long as is necessary to do it right - something that Valve is in a unique position to do, where…
As I thought more on how I would enjoy making my work, I wanted to do something fun and colorful. I thought of how vibrant and fun the Arcade Miss Fortune and Star Guardian skins are. I decided to go for a 1950s style soda bar feel with colorful soda and whipped cream. Let me know what you guys think!
I played this like crazy, very fun. I ended up getting all the blocks and minerals in the level and maxing out the character up to the point where it glitched haha (the dirtzooka turned into a nuke??). Very fun, however it has huge balancing issues like obsolete/unecessary tools and getting items for restrictions before…
well, I decided to pick this back up after nearly a year. The sculpt hasn't changed much, but I did a pose exploration. It's early, and a bit stiff. I'll probably try 1 or 2 more, and then choose one to refine. This time I'm going to take this to completion! I also did a fun color exploration with the renders. Nothing…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3DNdHMuSTE This is a quick test I created for him in the Unreal Development Kit. The animations are stock, I just created the character's mesh. Still fun to watch.I am super pleased with my progress and am even happier with the amount of fun I am having learning the process. If it were any…
from a corporate point of view it makes more sense to make the game a bit of a grind and charge for upgrades rather than create a good balanced leveling up system that doesn't feel like a grind and actually enhances the fun. So for that reason I'm against all micro transactions because they ruin the fun and pacing of…
