ThatDon: Thanks! Asmuel: It's fine man, I understand and appreciate your honest criticism. conte: Thanks. I agree the hands/legs still look a bit weird, I might overhaul those parts of the design to deal with it. pior: Thanks. And yeah I've been struggling to get a good screengrab out of Zbrush. Here's one from Mudbox…
[ QUOTE ] leilei, Love the thumb buttons, that's probably the most original thing i've ever seen [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I wanted to do a more 'hands-on' approach. The simple, over-antialiased CGI barrel was intentional because in 1994 it'd be regarded as NEXT GENERATION REALISTIC 3D GRAPHICS. So for that fact i've taken the 90s…
@vig: Allright, but remember, you asked for it. Pose at the top of his "wind up" could be better. Pay attention to the silhouette, try to make it more dyanmic: fist up, cannon arm out for counterbalance. Break up timing of hand and foot on the wind up, make them hit their "beats" on different frames. Torso could settle…
While handpainting textures is very noble, and really cool if it can be pulled off, it's not really practical to handpaint everything in textures anymore. The results/time it takes to just use photo textures as a base pays off in the end. Again, not saying hand painting is bad or anything, just way more reasonable to do…
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] A character from one of my favorite books. Hard to find reference of a malamute wearing a Prussian military outfit with prosthetic hands. Lots of work to be done. Major cool points to anyone that knows where this is from btw. [/ QUOTE ] 'Lives of the Monster Dogs' by any chance? [/ QUOTE ] Cool points…

(maybe some hair to) A skirtless skater with baggy jeans and kneepads. nameless C&c appreciated thanks
[ QUOTE ] Nice work Daz. What sort of hands are you using? White British male? I use those too, they work pretty well. [/ QUOTE ] LOOOOL Where can I get me some of those? Dick's art supply store? Looking cool Mop, good job. I think I like your's better than bobo's, OSNAP. 8-)
Nice stuff in here . Johny:I think the ears are too far forward, or at least the angle makes them look off, it should sit/line up behind the jaw. If you feel your own ear/jaw you'll get the picture. P.S.:Make sure you wipe your hands first cuz i know you been playing with caca all day long.
That's awesome Gwot, I love his huge hands! Just one question: What is the idea behind modeling wrinkles in z-brush? Wouldn't it look just as good with traditional bump maps? I imagine It would be a lot faster. Here is some progress on the jeep. Next thing to do is the interior. Then the guns! Does anyone have a good…
Thanks Neo, I was going off of a few reference images in addition and was confused by that part. http://www.kopykake.com/images/bodybuilder.jpg I'll assume I was seeing it that way because his hands are up on his hips?? I've also made a lot of tweaks to the shape of the cranium, deemphasized the that thick neck muscle (the…
