Looking into it, I don't think Trackball is the source of my problem; that's just for the camera. My problem is mostly with manipulating objects. Say I try to drag it to the side. Instead of the conventional dragging movement, it'll just slide endlessly in the general direction from the starting point where I had moved the…
some prototyping of a new geometry i need, it's a basic mesh disc that has a radius, number of points and number of segments (so number of sides would be points * segments) The idea is that it has a consistent face size across the mesh and the thinking behind the "points" and segments is I need it (in the future) to…
The side that TeeJay pointed out.. www.the-blueprints.com is usually my goto site for orthos for cars. Its probably going to be tricky to find super awesome orthos of a specific year of a car, especially one that isn't a sports/supercar. A lot of times youll just have to get the basic shape/lines from the blueprint and add…
Looking good. One suggestion is to add more cheek bone or the zygomatic process on the side of the face. Or higher cheek bones. Go for a really fem angle because right now the overall shape of the head still looks a little mannish. Also maybe reduce the neck size but still maintain its tone. Just a few suggestions. Good…
Here are 2 screen-shots from MB of my terrain with the basic diffuse applied, colours and details are not final but purely to get a feel and look. Can anyone explain why I get the "white stripe" along one side of my terrain in MB? The texture is fine and is the correct size, it's some kind of view-port issue I believe.
Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone. After playing around with it, I laid out the UV's a bit differently by combining the top and bottom sides since no one will probably see the bottom anyway. I'm also bumping the size up and will be implimenting other suggestions as well. I'll repost once I have something new to…
Thanks for the comments all! :) I'll adjust the size of the back of the skull to try to give it a more realistic proportion. Just finished rigging it with a biped and putting it into a simple pose. Polycount is currently 4300. Here are some updated pics: And as a side note, I thought the hairstyle was an odd choice as…
; ; i was just thinking that. What if one of the troops has a broken leg or something, a ramp would also cause all the hippies/pacifists to be on your side of the war... whether they know it or not. I think that maybe the stairs/ramp should have a cover to them.. they look like they would be the first hting to go during a…
Fantastic hand poop, looking at my own mesh now makes me cry. For some reason I can look a billion times on a shape and still dont get the geometry Do ya'll start with a box and take it from there? Use ref in ortho or just photos on the sideline? On a side note, thanks for the video tutorials on you site poop
Quality work and a nice site. Good luck landing a job :) I do get the pixel shift on your Contact and Tutorials pages, I think it's caused by removing the scroll bar from the right side of the window. I'm using Firefox 3.0 on a monitor with a 1280 x 960 resolution. EDIT: cool domain name btw
