The Noise on 3DSMAX Bakes can be solved by using a Push with a low value. Ive read about it, but never tried it. I think the best Results in 3DSMAX are : Catmullrom / Hammerslay with 1.0 -

A little more progress for the Beast contest. Decided to change it up quite a bit. I felt giving it more of a face, even if it's hammerhead-ish would help bring a little more empathy to his backstory. I will be adding barnacles and starfish to his back as well as texturing everything after I finish up the anatomy. -

Texture is just for now a paintover of the 3d model render in Zbrush with different matcaps to test some colours before retopo and texturing on real uv's. Thanks HammerFist3D2D. Any suggestions about colours ? -

yes, also one the reasons I really don't want to switch software, its jack of all trades software. No, the pixel perfect strokes is not the same as the pencil tool inside photoshop. The end result is that the artist is able to draw diagonal strokes without having to clean up. Look at the gif inside… -
