I didn't use sub-D for hard surface modelling for a decade already . Because for hard surface things it's either sbs with bevel node on uv islands or rounding shaders to bake into normal map. my approach would to create 20 different tilable texture: ie concrete, wood, metal etc - you got enough materials to create variants there. and some for atlasing textures of posters, graffiti, or decal stuff. Thanks!) Not a very high polycount, although the object is quite large. The plane was made for foreshortenings in 15-20 meters from it. lod0 = 44416 triangles Yes, planes, like cars, usually have a high polycount, due to the bends of the surfaces)
Day 20 - Burnt Today I attempted a burnt marshmallow material and I honestly didn't expect it to be as challenging as it was. I'm sure it can be improved upon but I'm happy with the results considering the time I had to work on it.
