So, a Character Artist who makes it a sub-career goal to be an expert at fashion design is viable or no? (assuming said character artist is decent at other things like creatures, etc.)
Nice! The falloff for the joint is kind of odd around the jaw of the creature. I'd repaint the skin weights around there. There's too much stretching of the skin in front of the side fins it looks like.
Awesome sculpt. Pumpkinghead has always been one of my favorite creature flicks, you definitely did him/it justice. That's cool that you met the actor, was that at a horror convention?

great stuff, only thing that doesn't sit right with me is the front legs on the first creature, with all the weight from the torso, i'd have expected the legs to be bigger to support it
aww man... quake one.... 3d... gorgeous level and creature design... multiplayer with 16 people...the GRAPPLING HOOK!...rocket arena...coop SP lan runs... man..that was a game.
No clue yet Blake. My thought process stopped where my sketch ends. :) Thanks for the motivating words Crystel. Bird creatures are awesome and you have set the bar.
Thanks for you time, niektb! My strong point is Characters/Creatures using Maya + zBrush. But I am also able to do some simple enviroment stuff with a reference :)
Chiming in before i can get to my comp- first creature is one of my favorites on the site and I think the pose is fine. Will post more helpful stuff later.
