i would take the black trim on the pedestal out and just make a fall off on the dirt itself so it transitions from gray to the dirt. everything else looks ace cant wait to see the final texture :)
Thanks! Yeah I totally agree about the wood. A few of the reference photos I've collected of vintage storefronts showcase a painted wood style for much of the ornate trimming and elements--so I definitely think it will make it in! :)
Sweet! I'm enjoying the building facades! The signage looks great as well. I'd suggest looking at the reference you have and adding things such as the railing or a trim piece to kind of break out the silhouette and make the buildings pop.
It's definitely a lot better, but it's still got that mushy sculpt feel. hit it up with a trim brush. to give it some nice flat edges and sharp turns - then you can go back in and carve in some more nicks and such.
This is coming along really nicely, lighting looks very cool. You might try adding a bit of trim along the bottom of the walls. Currently looks a little bit strange where the walls meet the tile floor.
Okay after digging I've found the "trimleft". But the problem I'm running into it how to define the quotation mark as being the thing I want to trim. trimLeft stringy """ Isn't getting my anywhere, not that I thought it would.
blitz , Fid, Andrew Mackie Thank you RAWTalent Maybe to be mage is boring )) Saiainoshi In the begining - bottom part was darker.. but I didn't like it. But I agree that some sort of trim on it can do it more interesting.
Looks nothing like a Subaru. My first thought was a BMW. Subaru wagons have a way different shape. Add the side markers/signals, add the trim/lines and panel cuts, as that's what makes a BMW a BMW.
I trimmed this down to a bust. Timelapse, part 2. (hit mute if you don't want music) [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbvYpxuSxLA"]Weekly Jam - Dishonored, Pt. 2 - YouTube[/ame] FancyJames : Haha, nice!
Thanks Torch! yeah, i used dynamesh for some of the parts, mostly just sketched them on quite sloppily and then just retopoed them and added creasing to tighten the edges. Then some hpolish and trim dynamic :) Quick update for the ghosty girl
