I use a 7950GX2 card (SLI on 1 board). Applications such as 3dsmax, Zbrush or Mudbox aren't built for SLI, so you're not going to get any performance enhancements from SLI. Are you you saying you want to do a usb raid? Why bother? The bus would limit any advantage it has. Do a Esata raid (e=external). There are different types of raids. Sorry, this is incorrect. This artifact is 100% preventable and predictable. Whether it was a 40 degree angle or 120 degree angle, having a hard edge on the low poly model without splitting the UVs is what causes the problem in Nate's image.
