nice dude! only thing i see is the tones are a bit desaturated and that wireframe is kinda "in your face" maybe a nice either white or black wires? :) love the model
looks amazing, can you share some wireframes for it? also, can you you add some muzzle flash and smoke? might not work for the diorama, but could be interesting
Wow dude, at first i thought it was some concept art piece for a character but then i saw wireframes, i was like woaaaaah. Love the style man, keep at it! :D
yeah, I used half lambert, but as you said it's mostly the textures, I like cavity maps and really defined edges! :) Will post flats and a wireframe later today. :)
I have no shading errors, everything looks fine, I'm just gonna make that NGon a bit prettier for the wireframe showoff and tweak the bevels. Thanks for the tips, guys! :)
Here is a wireframe shot of my scene, straight out of softimage. My large lowpoly rocks have a really messed up polygon distribution. But in the end it looks fine.
It looks like the mirror line might not be totally straight, go into wireframe and use an orthographic camera to look down the x axis and zoom in to see if everything lines up.
If they are direct quotes just leave them. Also on the main page "Recomended" is spelled wrong. Needs another M. Also great content. Clean wireframes and good textures.
I've completed the helmet highpoly 'base mesh' in 3Ds Max, ready to take it into ZBrush for detailing. I've also added a screenshot of the wireframe, the topology is not optimal but it will do the job.
I'm curious how to see the wireframe for the metal panels. Never tried vertex colors before so it would be awesome to see how you achieved it. Keep it up!
