Hey man, looking good I can see the improvements especially on the side profiles. One thing I will say is the shape of the heads seems a little off at times, sometimes they're a bit too long, I think really nailing the general shape and size of the head will help push the likeness of your sculpts.
I believe that a two sided shader is more expensive than actual geometry. Two sided shader turns OFF backface culling forcing the GPU to render all triangles (might even be 2 draw calls...). Actual geometry backfaces get culled by default resulting in less triangles drawn. So as cholden says avoid the two sided material…

Unless he owns both, monopolize. Looks great people need invites to sites now? Might as well put it out there, they should just add a resume section that goes somewhere near the side of all the images and boom, online portfolios with resumes at your finger tips. This since no one likes to download files.
It definitely needs improvements. I think the chair, side-table and lamp look pretty cool (Even though the texture sizes are all different in the scene), but it doesn't feel like a lab. There are random crates dotted about the walls and the door (Although looks OK) looks like it is from a bank, rather than a laboratory.
I don't consider myself a vehicle artist, let alone a shipwright, but I have some some thoughts... At a glace I kind of saw your sloop as more of a ship-in-a-bottle model than a gigantic ship that a crew of people will ride on. And that might be due to the DOF of the shots and it could very much be what your were going…
