This is one of the more interesting sketchbooks I have looked at - the subject matter is all over the place which is interesting, but most of all its watching the progression of style and technique ... looking at the 2010 work ... one might not even associate the 2008 work with the same artist if the in between work was…
From what I've gathered the whole Pimping & Previews sub forum is for creating your own thread for either showing your entire progress or a completed project. The sticky thread 'What are you working on?' in the Pimping & Previews forum is for a single progress update on your most recent project. Or something that's really…
"But otherwise, i think you are making really really slow progress. And that's really great, cause you probebly re-do a couple of things and learn more. Keep on going with this, i really want to see it finished!" Slow and steady wins the racer right?" JK your absolutely right I will try to make faster progress.
Here's a screenshot of model 1's progress so far. Current vs. Original. Thank you @TeriyakiStyle, @ Brian "Panda" Choi, and @jarsef for helping me nudge her in a better direction - I hope I've put your advice to good use! Her repaint is still in progress, will do a final post once done.
@Ubuska very nice archway. look forward to seeing the progress on the rest of the door =) @Omnicypher I like your approach to the trim sheet. Is there any chance at some point I could have your input on making my own trim sheet for my models ? If so I appreciate your time. Current progress thus far on the pyre...
Sorry Its been a while! I've gotten sick twice in less than a months time. :confounded: However, I've still been working! :D here's some texture progress. This is still VERY work in progress. I'm not exactly happy with the colors so I'm still playing around and trying to find the right stuff. C&C welcome
Day 4: Today I was mainly working on the idea in Blender, not much visual progress has been made: Now comes the point when I realize that I should first try to vectorize my second draft (this one if you forgot it...) So here is my progress on that: Hopefully this will turn out well and look good on the weapon!
Hello everyone! I feel like I'm making slow progress on this at the moment but progress none the less. I took the blockout of the buildings on the right and then turned them into modular pieces. From there I did a high poly edge definition and created a low and baked it out. Now that it's unwrapped and ready to go I'll be…
Here is my progress so far on this environment. I am going to be refining the assets and making the textures. Nothing here is final, as I add more details to the assets and textures things will probably be changed around. But I am excited with the progress. I probably will not be posting next week since I will be gone most…
I just want to make it clear that for this art test in specific, ArenaNet said this: "You may post your progress online, but you MUST email your final renders along with a breakdown of your texture sheets." Just clarifying. I would never post progress of an art test unless given the green light to do so.
