also pick up a chronicle, local free paper. it'll list all the shows that are coming to town too. we should probably do another polycount get together, its been long enough
Not to derail the thread or get too far OT but I've been volunteering at our local Code Club events, getting kids to dig that bit deeper than 'the latest app' and hopefully cultivate an interest in programming.
Thanks all, I will try to spend some of my extra cha-ching on a color calibrator for my monitors, Or see if maybe someone local has one. Definitely need to do this! That diagram is super helpful
Local changes on an artists machine wont make anyone worry especially as they wont get pushed to the main code without approval. Maybe the artist finds a good combination of something that could be useful or looks cool
A spanish guy I know pronounces it as Gee. (which for you non irish folks is a local slang for vagina ) Did anyone mention Euler, thats another real common one. its pronounced 'Oiler'
Things can be ordered and bought from the internet worldwide, you know... Doesn't always need to be a local store for stuff like mouses and keyboards, like in this case. You were unnecessarily rude with your comment.
oooh neat. first thing i said when i saw this thread was "why not just use local normal" and then i got to that part in the video. XD thx for the script, itll definitely come in handy
It might of been a poly bevel with "Group Polygons" unselected giving you a local bevel on all the polys - you will get internal faces from that. Another option is duplicating your mesh on top of the old mesh.
The folio is some fragments of pencil sketches and posters put together for the local junior college's theater department. Oh, and a couple of brochures for a church at the end. It's not targeted at all. The video was meant to be for a contest that helps with tuition fwiw.
lolz, the iMac came out in 1998 back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Try calling the local paper, we used to give away our old machines we couldn't use any more.
