iirc they have doubled pressure levels, so you currently have a no-tilt intuos 3 quality pen; first bamboo models had 512 levels of pressure vs 1024, and wacom pens aren't cross-compatible if pressure difference takes place (you could use graphire pens with older bamboo for example) -

Oh boy, I loved that game for it's ability to capture the "Eerie space" mood. I haven't played that game in 3 or so years and only played for a couple months mining ore, gawing at the art, and doing homework simultaneously. The ship very much fits but the front panels irk me and I'd be fine without them. -

I thought they were supposed to be both dark, at least on metal parts. IIRC black designates shiny parts of the specular map, and white designates not shiny textures. This is what it looks like when I made the diffuse too dark, and also the specular a little too dark (shiny). -

Yea apps like Max/Maya/Blender/etc. are often used to create flipbook effects, but nearly everything beyond that is going to need to be done in-engine. Naughty Dog for instance is using Houdini for some flipbook effects in Uncharted4 (like the fire seen in the e3 demo when Drake was stuck under the flipped jeep), iirc. -

Yes, but I believe you get the skill by mimicking and then you can apply it to your own creations later. For example, everyone links to the Joan of Arc tutorial for character modeling. Doesn't everyone build Joan as they read the tutorial? So it's the same thing, really. You imitate, you learn, you take it your own way... -

that riddler looks very nice. only problem i see is the pose. he looks very off center. like his body is arcing to the left (viewer left) try turn is his right foot a bit more to the right. cause right now. at least to me. looks like hes going to fall over. -

VERY nice results on the lady, looking forward to the other dude. But you really should work on the hands! They are so flat both for the girl and your new mesh. Even if you model them in a flat pose, fingers are placed along an arc, making the middle of the hand highest, and add some more bulk to the thumb base. -

Nice work @alexteoh ! Really digging the new camera work and the punch through the rock is a great moment. My only note would be giving a bit more hang time in the final shot at the top of his arc and then speeding up the spin down. Right not that shot feel like 3 equally timed beats. Rock on bud! -

Hmm... I haven't used Maya + ActorX in a long time, but IIRC I had an issue similar to this when I forgot to triangulate a mesh before export. You might want to try saving your meshes as FBX as well. If that doesn't work then make sure all of your face normals are pointing outwards in Maya.
