I think with your wood your focusing too much on the micro and not enough on the macro. You have some nice details, but the wood is incredibly noisy. You need to simplify your shapes. If you go to your network settings, there is probably only one Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) I'm guessing. Click the install button and add another protocol. Usually when I do mine, I use the tiling along U to add variety. There's nothing illegal about what you did. I just find it easier to have a tiling direction.
