Today I made some scrollwork to go on the flintlock. I'm aiming for it to be a very extravagant weapon but I'll sculpt in a lot of damage as if its owner has fallen on hard times or something. The 1st 2 were made by setting the pattern as an alpha in zbrush. The 3rd one was made in max using the design as a template.
10k Poly, 2x 2048 texture map environment for Splash Damage's test: Here's a 22k poly clock I made for TurboSquid to practice working quickly. Took 6 hours: Here are some low poly fantasy props. Each are between 98 and 100 polys, with one 512x512 texture map.
You've really captured that fifties feel with it so far and I think it's starting off really well, only a few crits. The proportions seem a bit off, like it should be a bit taller overall but not by much. I'm not liking that damage you've got there, the modeling is great so far but that feels a bit off.
The RoC and TFT betas were both pretty good. The 'bat riders do normal damage' phase at the beginning of the TFT beta was painful, but other than that they tend to even make their betas a fun play experience :) . As it's likely MP only it shouldn't ruind the SP for you anyway. Hoping I get in too.
Mop I think it really is a tool for tiling env stuff, or overlaid layers for damage textures - in that case the underlying geo is just flat so no problems. Agreed, on character stuff it makes not much sense and can only cause a mess (would only work with Brice's tool, since it also updates the UVs...)
Hello everyone, Echo Squad consists of two college students aged 17-18 at Dudley college in the UK, these students are myself and bootlegmojo. Hi Polycount! Wonderful theme challenge, I'll certainly play with my creativity in this. Concept: My idea is an ancient cathedral, very organic, with huge amount of reliefs, heavily damaged and taken over by nature. The building was once the mainstay on border between the kingdoms of good and evil and the traces of it are…
The problem is the owner is epic games that has vast capital to keep the platform up even if revenue is 0. A more valid reason regardless of the AI situation to leave is the caps on free accounts. But you could just as easily end pro subscriptions. It isn't artists leaving artstation that will damage it but AI art being…
Your MD work is amazing and your skin looks really good on him now :) only thing id say is making his horns a different colour and maybe more of a bone like material :) Id maybe addd a bit of damage to the bottom of the jacket to. but he look awesome :) excited to see them both finished
Yeah I think the random lights kind of makes your buildings look metallic or plastic. Check out the lighting for the Arkham games. Also your rooftops are a bit boring, maybe add some more meshes/damage, HVAC, pyramid windows, etc, because from the top down they're all just squares.
