Visually, this is looking really good. That creature might be the best I've seen in a video game to date. The damage fx (burned skin, bones showing through, etc) is great.
Well done! The textureing looks good and tight. The leather bits are particularly eye catching. The specular on the face could be nosier though, it feels too soft for such a gruff creature.
love the overall idea.. .would be great to have more fish like features in the creature, since the Innsmouth guys were fishy :) some scales or gills or sth of the sort...
Small Update. Refining the whale shape. I really like the idea of incorporating some of the bioluminescence of deep sea creatures into the beast so I am trying that out.
Progress on Abaddon set. Started with the mount. Basically retaining a horse and changing armor. Already have a lot of diverse creatures in the store ^^. Please crits. Just started sculpting.
These are sick as hell man, thanks for sharing! Would love to know though, how did you approach wrapping the veins and tendons around both creatures limbs and appendages?
I have to agree with this one. Not a lot of tiny objects to get caught up on. Good atmosphere, textures and statue / creature in the next room vague enough for artistic license.
Ohhhh, '''ZARDOZ'''!! Yeah. The trippy seventies, man. Love it. Cue the ELP! "And you, poor creatures, who conjured you out of the clay? Is God in showbusiness too?" /jzero
Whoa! It looks awesome. That depth of field makes it look like an actual photo of an action figure. Haha, I was actually also expecting a creature from Carpenter's The Thing.
