well i have raytraced shadows from 1 omni light, 1 no shadows omni, skylight for AO, 14,300 polygon object sub-d'd x3 to 228,200 polygons. I think the raytraced shadows is what scanline is choking on. -

I see what you mean, sometimes though, I observe this fogging depends on the time of day. not really sure. Could be the background looking really lowres and flat thats contributing to the lack of massiveness on the statue. :D Yes I'm thinking of adding birds but I'm not sure what kind to put there. praetus- well for this model we would have charged £340 for the initial print. That would have been supplied unfinished without the base. Then it would have been another £300-400 on top of that for the base and the time to assemble it and paint it to the standard you see here. Thing is this one is a very complicated piece… -
