Less wireframes on some of your presentation pages. Also for your tiling texture, show independently the diffuse and normal at least. I also agree with the posts above. Do a full scene.
It came out fantastic, bro! Great job :) Might want to throw together another shot with a few wireframes, but besides that, great presentation. Oh, and fix that weird glowing metal too ;)
Update with a little wireframe, and an other picture with just the normal baked. I you have some advices for textures, don't be afraid to say what you want. Have a nice day.
I like the simplicity of the site, thats the way to go, but I would also like to see breakdowns of the props. Wireframes/textures. Solid pieces so far though, good job.
Quads are not required. http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Polygon_Count For topology ideas look at vehicle wireframes from top-tier published games. Fans decompile meshes from games all the time.
Damian, love the page! A definite inspiration to aspiring enviro artists (like myself). Do you think having wireframes on your lowpoly work (props, building, etc) would be useful?
hmmm I'd rework the grabs/renders if I was you, the characters are often not centered and partially out of the frame :p Also maybe put up some wireframes or so ? :) Good luck with it ;)
Wow! Amazing work, great to see this. I, too, would love to see some shots of the high res, wireframes, flats, etc, but I understand if you can't share that stuff.
Turntables and the ability to toggle wireframe overlays. How: make the model spin around, and capture it in the act of spinning in the form of an avi or qt. ;) And yes, I would pay, for a pc AND mac version.
