You did very well. As a Highpoly piece, it is great. If you intend to get a clean bake from it, a lot of your edges are too sharp, to get a nice normal result. But i really like the modelled in details
this to me is uneccesary harsh. and slightly wrong. as the creator of the thread, i dont think its wrong to ask people to respect the intended topic. and to create a separate thread for that discussion is a good solution, even if it didnt work here.
gsokol: ...ofcourse the non-smoothed model would have those poles :D ! Think about it for a second, how could it not? And I'd say displaying the model as intended is a good idea, as it shows off whether the poles are problematic or not.
Well. Over-reaction aside... Hopefully the guy I specifically replied to understands the intended ironic humour in my vaguely tongue-in-cheek comment. You spelled "especially" wrong, btw. OH YEAH I DID.
Yep, that is what I intend - to let the work speaks for itself. I know it has to be looked at quickly without wading through too many distractions. In previous post, I meant what to end up with, and learning it.
Hm.. not sure if fixed/stretched stuff is possible on iOS Safari without scripting. I tried this css sample in your page and it seems to be sort of a compromise - the page is scrollable on iPhone (but will scroll with the bg) and it works as intended on PC.
hey all, anybody heard of moleskine hacks? It's where you take your moleskine notebook and make it do things they weren't intended to do. for example making it into an iphone case and cutting out small portionns of the page to sort "index" the notebook. if you've heard about any interesting hacks please feel free to…
Here are the final images: model ----Original Post---- Hey everyone, I'm currently making Kumiko from Sound Euphonium. It's going to be intended to be viewed in a realtime viewer so I'm going to try a certain technique to 'bake' in lighting and shading to make a convincing 2D effect. Here's what I've done so far :)
Hi, Is there a way to increase the input slots of "addDoubleLinear" Node? Currently, there are only two. I have 6 intended inputs and it would nice to just use one node rather than 4 nodes stacking against each other. Or is there a better node out there? Thank you for your time.
Finished taking this guy through Substance Painter and Substance Designer. Im pretty stoked for what I have learned from this prop, especially since it is my first time going through the PBR workflow. In the future, I intend on throwing it into an environment soon. Any C&Cs are much appreciated =)
